Welcome!

We hope to promote carpooling and ridesharing to Maui events & for personal rides (to work, etc). Let's get creative and save the planet by saving gas. Not to mention a chance for some human interaction.

We need to secure parking places at major 'collector' points on the island where people can meet, connect and leave cars while at different events. If you have any ideas for parking areas, please contact us. Mahalo.

Until we locate our parking areas, we'd like to support other carpooling efforts that are currently available. CarpoolMaui.com is offering these site links as a referral only and has no specific knowledge of their services.

VanpoolHawaii.com - state run organization with vanpools & a links page.
Craigslist.org - until we're fully functional there's Craigslist.
Maui Public Bus Information - schedules, fares, etc.

Below are newer services that won't work without large member bases.

GoLoco.org - new service tries to match riders in a 'negotiable' & safe way.
eRideshare.com - another ridesharing service not too active on Maui yet.

We're just getting started, so we can all work together to make this happen. This island might just be the perfect place to make a difference. Please ask for a ride or offer a ride and by all means share any ideas you have for how to make this a success!

Contact us if you want a ride or can offer a ride to island events that are not mentioned above. Contact us if you have an event you'd like for us to promote. We'll try to have meeting points at West Maui, South Maui, Upcountry & Paia (where else?) and connect riders with rides to places like MACC, Studio Maui, Unity Church, Lahaina Gallery Walk. (where else?)

Specific Carpool Requests:

Need weekday rides: I have limited vision and need to find someone to carpool to work with. I live in Paia and work in Kahului, next to Alive and well. My hrs for work are Monday thru Friday 8:30-5:30. Will gladly help with gas.

Ride to share: Looking for surfers in Pukalani, Makawao or Lower Kula to ride together to Hookipa workday afternoons.

Ride to share: Weekend ride to Baldwin Beach from Wailuku/Kahalui area.  One seat and room for surfboard/etc in truck.  It's on the way to the airport too.
